"A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so that you may heal yourself." - Maryam Hasnaa
Hi! I'm Mija. I'm so glad you want to know more about what I do. Welcome!
I offer work that engages with pain, whether it is physical bodywork, energy work, or emotional work. For therapies that are more physical in nature, I use any combination of trigger point, structural integration, circulatory, deep tissue sculpting, cupping, pin and stretch, passive movement, etc.

The form of energy work I offer is craniosacral therapy. It involves the offering of a gentle, safe space and can be profound in its scope. It can offer respite for a mind that feels too busy or when you feel overful emotionally.
Somato emotional bodywork might involve dialogue, expressive arts therapy, or guided imagery to engage with stored emotional pain. It can be powerfully cathartic and, especially in conjunction with craniosacral therapy, can help you shift stuck patterns of being and release that which no longer serves you.
I have recently added Flower Essence consultation. It works with the spiritual essence of plants in order to engage with spirit and soul growth in subtle but effective ways.
Depending on what you present with, a typical session might involve a visual posture evaluation and possibly a visual assessment of your movement. We will talk about what the session will look like and go from there. If I believe craniosacral, somato-emotional, or flower essence therapy will be more appropriate for what you tell me is going on for you, I may suggest those instead of, or in addition to, physical bodywork.
