It's not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself, and to make your happiness a priority. It's necessary.
Lindsey Held, Licensed Massage Therapist, invites you to allow yourself the opportunity to create meaningful change in your body through massage.
She believes that every body is different and deserves specific and customized work to release tension, ease holding patterns and heal injuries. She often uses slow paced techniques to achieve deep relaxation and healing, allowing the body and mind to “let go”. With a passion for hiking and yoga, Lindsey also believes that movement plays a large role in our health and overall well being. She incorporates this philosophy into massage to aid in assisted stretching and creating tangible change in the tissue. During your individualized session she will work with you using a combination of tools and techniques to address your main issues, increase your range of motion and bring your body into balance.
Lindsey graduated from Cortiva School of Massage with 750 hours of education in 2016. She has become proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy and neuromuscular techniques. Lindsey has also undergone 24 hours of training in Contemporary Cupping Methods, which she feels is an effective tool and enjoys incorporating it into her sessions. Additional education includes ethics and boundaries, Washington state law, wholeness in body mechanics, table thai techniques and practicing safe and smart during the COVID-19 pandemic.
