“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” - Leo Buscaglia
We live in a culture that seems to value a jam-packed schedule, leaving precious little time to rest, unwind, and just do nothing. I started my massage practice because I believe in the healing power of human touch and that connection has been essential in my own health and wellness journey. Massage can lower anxiety and depression, help us regulate our emotions, lead to higher self-esteem and empathy, and actually improve our immune systems.
I also offer manual lymph drainage therapy (MLD), a gentle massage technique designed to promote the natural drainage of lymph fluid. By applying rhythmic, light pressure, MLD encourages the movement of lymph through the lymphatic system. This therapy is particularly beneficial for managing fluid retention, reducing swelling (especially after surgery, trauma, or accidents), and supporting overall immune function. Additionally, MLD helps maintain proper blood circulation and enhances lymph flow.
