My name is Grace Chatman-Royce and I am a queer, non-binary Philadelphia native providing care in the East Falls section of the city. I’ve been a Licensed Massage Therapist since May of 2017 after attending the Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy. Both of my parents were professional Modern Dancers and I was therefore exposed to bodywork at a young age, receiving chiropractic and massage care and learning the basics from bodyworkers and dancers in my life. With this background I found in my early 20’s, that I had a natural intuition when working with the body, and was excited to explore more
In my work I use my tool box to create a Integrative Therapeutic bodywork experience. I show people that massage is a way to know our bodies better and connect in with them on a deeper level. My work is an assisted body scan, creating a affirming and consent based space for clients to relax deeper and find healing. I find that we hold emotions in our bodies and emotional and Physical release does come into the space when we’re able to let it.
Most of all I value the people who trust me with their bodies and bring diverse life experiences to the table.
