Instructing at a 625 hour Massage Therapy program in Eugene, Oregon, for two years; I had the fortune of sharing the subjects of kinesiology, massage theory, anatomy & physiology, body mechanics, and oversaw the student massage clinic at Northwest College. Teaching is a humbling experience. I am grateful for the insights and opportunity of returning to beginners mind! 

My bodywork style blends Western and Eastern techniques such as myofascial release, trigger point, neuromuscular techniques, deep tissue, stretching, joint mobilization, gua sha, cupping and traditional table thai massage. My background also includes instructing and practicing a 108 Yang Style tai chi form and related Taoist Internal Arts with the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA. Further studies include the arts of I-Chuan and Praying Mantis taught by Sifu Koo. I also received a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification in 2012 from the Lotus Seed in Portland, Oregon and have practiced yin, hatha, and vinyasa styles primarily. 

In 2007, while finishing school at East West College of the Healing Arts, in Portland, Oregon, I was struck by a car while cycling. This gift has given me insight into the healing process, chronic pain, and listening to the bodies wisdom. This accident propelled me to Thailand in 2010 and 2017 to study Traditional Thai Massage at Baan Hom Samunphrai School, Sunshine Massage School, Tao Garden, and the International Thai Massage School.
