Community First Massage Therapy, PLLC was founded for the purposes of providing equitable and accessible massage therapy services. Our mission is "to provide accessible, affordable, and high-quality massage therapy services that are culturally humble and responsive to the needs of patients." Our goal is to create an amazing experience for our patients and to create an opportunity to improve on patient-centered goals. We are driven by our values of:
- Access: Ensure that the practitioner is mostly focused on providing care to patients in the community health center setting serving low-income, uninsured, and/or diverse populations.
- Culturally Humble Care: Approach care in a culturally humble way, respecting the patient’s individual cultural and traditional beliefs and incorporating those into the sessions.
- Affordable: Services that are provided by Community First Medical Massage will be affordable through all lines of business. This is to ensure that those who typically are not able to access massage therapy services can do so.
- High-Quality: Community First practitioners will be required to continue engaging in continuing education credits and will be encouraged to increase scope of work by obtaining additional certifications, licenses, and knowledge needed to provide care to patients.
