Sarah Coughlin obtained her License in Massage Therapy from Seacoast Career School in 2010. She has continued her education with specialized courses through The World Conference Center and Cross Country Education.
She utilizes a combination of functional exercise, manual therapy, and education within each session. Her strengths include Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue, Soft Tissue Melting, and Sports Massage.
Sarah currently works as the Massage Therapist for Coastal Ortho and Performance Center.

Therapeutic massage is the scientific art and system of assessment and manual application of a technique to the soft tissue o the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, and fascia by means of the hand, foot, knee, elbow, and forearm. The manual technique involves application of touch, effleurage, friction, stretching, compression, and passive or active joint movements within normal range of motion for the purpose of establishing and maintaining good physical condition and health. Orthopedic massage involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of soft tissue to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction.
