"Massage: The art of comforting the body, calming the mind, and soothing the soul"
Hi,
I would like to start off by saying thank you for taking the time to get to know me. Nine years of being a RMT I have had to over come a number of obstacles and barrier's. The most devastating time just a couple of years into my career path I was told after an injury that I will never be able to massage again. My heart sunk into my stomach, I felt like a part of me had been torn away.
I had finally found my true path, a career that felt right all the way into my soul and gave me pure happiness. At that point I was determined but something in me would not accept that and I decided no and I began paving the road to recovery, through therapy, taking care of myself and believing I can one day live with out all the pain, discomfort and find myself back into the career my heart desired. Finally here I am, once again helping other through their healing journey's.
I now believe that I had to go through the pain physically and emotionally to be the therapist I am today for that I am grateful. Specializing in MVA and sport injuries with the knowledge from my education but also my own experience I don't just hear the pain and issues my clients have, I feel them. Massage is one way for us to take care of the life we have and to live it as painlessly as possible. It all starts with taking care of yourself first. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am more then happy to explain the techniques and benefits of each modality to assist in the right path for you.
Sincerely,
Cheriot S.
