After 12 years of working for a major bank in Newark Delaware, Vernita Roberts decided to finally pursue her true passion for massage therapy in 2013. After attending National Massage Therapy Institute in Wilmington Delaware, she received her certification in Swedish and Sports Massage. Ms. Roberts has gained valuable experience in massage therapy working for local salons, chiropractors and wellness centers and in 2016 began her own private practice, Soothing Agave Massage. Ms Roberts is dedicated to redirect her life to massage. Her modalities include swedish, deep tissue, prenatal and hot stone massage. And now introducing warm bamboo, a Chinese modality incorporating a warm bamboo and redwood instruments.
In 2018 Ms. Roberts has also continued her education through the Academy of Massage and Bodyworks with a license in Esthetics. Future modalities in esthetics will include skin care, waxing and body scrubs.
