…Thank you for taking a moment to learn about my skills, treatment philosophy and overall approach. I passionately believe that by integrating massage therapy, we can achieve your best wellness-focused lifestyle.
My background and in massage therapy began at Central Oregon Community College in 2008. My foundational coursework spanned over 1,800 hours of training towards my Associates Degrees in Applied Sciences majoring in Massage Therapy, which I added to my 1997 degree in Psychology and Sociology.
In the early stages of my career, I had the pleasure of working with a number of physical therapists, chiropractors and massage therapists in medical settings and in five-star and award-winning, full service spas in the Pacific Northwest. From each of these massage and physica therapists I broadened my knowledge of various massage specialties to bring you amazing, therapeutic treatments, tailored to your needs. This broad knowledge benefits my clients, many of whom are experiencing body pain brought about by injuries or illness. During our initial assessment, you and I determine and plan the end results, then we create the best treatment plan to return you to, or bring you to, optimal health and wellbeing from the framework of massage and manual therapy.
I believe massage work can be a major piece in your health care system and will strive and operate with those intention for you.
I offer a wide variety of massage modalities.
Newly added is my training in Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques (MAT). This is a transforming manual therapy that I am so excited to add to my tools and expertise for you (see full descriptions in my treatment scheduling).
I also use Neuromuscular Therapy, Active and Passive Release, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Moving Cupping and Gua Sha to name more than a few examples! For gifting and for those needing amazing stress relief, I do still offer the luxurious and DEEPL relaxing Hot Stone massage. Of note is that I'm highly expertised ansd I adore offering Prenatal and postnatal massage ttreatmentsas well.
