I am Austin McConnell, the founder of Routine Kneads Massage Therapy, established on June 13th, 2016. My practice is currently situated within the confines of Simply Irresistible Hair Salon, at 2506 1/2 Pike st, Parkersburg WV. where I operate within a dedicated private office. I specialize in an array of techniques designed to offer both relaxation and effective pain management.

To achieve this, I heavily emphasize Trigger Point Therapy—a methodology that centers around pinpointing the most distressed segments of the muscles and subsequently alleviating tension from these areas prior to addressing the surrounding muscles. In 2011, I encountered an accident involving a collision with a vehicle while cycling. This incident prompted an X-ray of my neck, which revealed inflammation and an unexpected reversal of cervical lordosis—a congenital spinal curvature anomaly. The abrupt impact of the collision led to muscle irritation in my neck, resulting in considerable discomfort. Consequently, I spent several years collaborating with massage therapists, chiropractors, and physical therapists to alleviate my pain and discomfort.
Upon my high school graduation in 2013, I made the resolute decision to embark on a career as a massage therapist. My firsthand experiences provided me with a profound understanding of the methods to alleviate pain and the challenges of beginning each day in discomfort.
