I am Mindy McHale. I went to Ashmead College in Vancouver, WA. I graduated in 2002 and became a licensed massage therapist in 2003. I became a massage therapist to help people like yourself feel better, move better, give you time in your day to relax and help you find a renewed sense of well-being.
My massage techniques provide you with a full body relaxing massage. I incorporate all of my many years of experience and continuing education into a massage specialized to your needs.
How do I know what your needs are, you ask...?
I listen to what you tell me you are feeling, watch your gait as you enter my office and I let your body tell me the rest. My massages include, but are not limited to, Hot Stones, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Frederick Stretch Therapy techniques. I always end my massage using hot towels to help deepen the sense of relaxation.
People often ask, "What type of massage do you do?" My answer to that question is that I don't have a type of massage. When I work on you, I listen to your body and only go as deep as your tissue will allow me to go. If I use to much pressure and you tense up or pull away then you are not relaxing and that defeats the massage altogether. Communication is key.
My office will provide you with a room that is calm and inviting where you will leave feeling refreshed in body, mind and spirit.
