Thai Massage with Amanda Fields
Massage therapy drew me in for the healing part. I want people to be happy and healthy in their lives and I figured through massage I could do that. I went to Ashmead College and graduated from the clinical and sports massage program in 2003. It was a few years later when I started taking classes at Oregon school of massage to learn Traditional Thai Massage with David Weizer. Then later learned Gua Sha through CHP. I find that Traditional Thai Massage and Gua Sha are both great at balancing energy in the body and increasing flexibility. It helps decrease pain and enhances physical function. I currently practice at Whole Health Wellness Group in Vancouver, WA
When I'm not at the office you will find me trying to keep up with my two children. My job and life demand that I stay in shape. I love yoga to help keep me focused and lifting weights to keep me strong. I've fallen in love with knitting so when it's quiet and the end of the day I like to let go of my thoughts and knit away.
