It is my deeply held belief that the body has an innate ability to heal, if listened to and facilitated properly. Providing people with a reprieve from the stress of living with pain and trauma, helping people overcome chronic pain and dysfunction, and holding space during recovery are my passions. I came to this profession as a result of my own serious injury that led to 7+ years of chronic pain. I understand the mental toll it takes. I understand the frustration of having no answers, so my empathy for those on their healing journey knows no bounds.
Using a root of the problem mindset developed during my own injury and my inside out perspective of anatomy, I learned to integrate the 3-D body for balance in all of your systems to create long term relief. Each treatment is custom tailored to your needs. Body, mind, and soul are integrated during the healing process.
Specializing in Craniosacral therapy (treating the Central Nervous System(CNS), as it operates the whole body) and implementing strain/counterstrain or positional release, PNF, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, visceral manipulation, and many other techniques to create balance in all systems of the body.
Migraines, TMJ, depression, anxiety, high blood pressure, degenerative disc disease, and idiopathic neuropathy are just a few of things that can be improved by treating the CNS.
My education began at Spokane's own Therapeutic Connections School of Massage, a school that requires 250 more hours than the state requires for licensing. I have completed many continuing education classes including 3 levels of Craniosacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Structural Integration, and the foundational level of Counterstrain, which addresses arterial, venous, lymphatic, nerves, ligaments, muscles, and visceral(internal organ) work. I love anatomy, learning, and am a student of the human body. If I cannot find the root of your issue, I will find you someone who can! *All prices listed reflect a paid at time of service discount(TOS).
