My goal is to guide clients into feeling more at home in their bodies. Injury, illness, trauma, and gender dysphoria can make someone feel disconnected from or even afraid of their own body. My hope is that massage will be a positive way to return to one’s body.
I've spent the last 4 years working in a clinical massage setting and have treated clients with headaches, neck, back, and sciatic pain, shoulder stiffness, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and more. I primarily do myofascial release (slow, gentle stretching of the connective tissue that encases the muscles) but am also experienced in Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, reciprocal inhibitions, prenatal massage, cupping, reiki, and pin and stretch.
I’ve been told that my strengths are my gentleness and groundedness. I am trauma-informed and hope to create a safe, comfortable environment and accommodate individuals’ unique and specific needs. I am queer, trans, and multiracial. I especially look forward to working with others in my community, though everyone is welcome!
