WHAT IS A BCTMB?

The exam includes orthopedic assessment knowledge, applied science such as pathology, pharmacology, and real-life scenarios to develop positive treatment
A person has to acquire a Massage Therapist license first and then get upper education to take the NBTMB exam. You may also take the BCTMB exam if you have premed college courses or a degree in the Medical Sciences education area.
WORKING AND BACKGROUND
Mary has been a Board Certified Therapeutic Massage and Bodyworker (BCTMB) for 12 years. This includes many types of medical bodywork modalities, stretches, exercises and assessments.
Mary has a pre-med degree, maintained a 4.0 average in college, and was in a PT program.
She specializes in rehabilitation and relief of injuries such as Head and Neck Computer Syndrome (from computer overuse), Auto Accidents, Slip and Falls, Whiplash, Cervical Injury, Arm/Forearm injuries such as cubital tunnel, carpal tunnel, golfers' elbow, tennis elbow, Shoulder issues such as frozen shoulder or subacromial impingement syndrome and much more.
She increases the Range of Motion for many joints due to injury
Repetitive Injury (Injury from overused muscles at work, play, or home).
Mary provides soft tissue pain relief for patients with Fibromyalgia, MS, Parkinson's' etc...

We bill Auto Accidents ONLY.

You MUST have this information below before the 1st Auto Accident Visit:
Auto Insurance name, Claim Number, Contact name and phone number of the agent handling your PIP claim, and a fax number where to fax the bill to.
You will need a prescription from your GP, chiropractor, naturopathic, or medical doctor.
You must have the prescription by the 1st appointment.
Ask your doctor's office to fax the prescription to 425-777-2100.
**Valley and Eastside does not bill regular medical insurance. However, many insurance companies do reimburse you for massages. We give you a receipt that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement. It is/your responsibility to find out what your insurance reimburses you.
