Delaney Farmer is a Board Certified, Licensed Athletic Trainer and Licensed Massage Practitioner who practices in Bellevue, WA. Having graduated from Seattle Massage School back in 1997, he wanted to pursue massage to help develop his hands on skill with injury care. In 2007, Delaney graduated from Washington State University with his degree in Kinesiology with the emphasis in Athletic Training. During his time at WSU (as an Student Athletic Trainer), in assistance with his schooling, he worked with several of the colleges sports teams: Men’s Basketball, Men’s Baseball and Women’s Swimming as a massage therapist.

 

Post college, Delaney moved to the Bellevue area where he was hired on with a local physical therapy clinic (until 2010) working with rehabilitation and clinic work, and outsourcing his athletic training skills to a local PDL/college level soccer team, the Seattle Wolves. Since 2008, Delaney has been working with the WNBA Seattle Storm as their Massage Therapist, and during the 2010-11 season was the team massage therapist and assistant athletic trainer for the Seattle Sounders FC club, and currently still works with them as an independent massage therapist and assist with Athletic Training when called upon.

 

Outside of professional sports, Delaney currently works as the head Athletic Trainer for Lake Washington High School providing injury care and management to all of the after school intercollegiate sport programs.

Having provided services to the weekend warrior, high school, college, professional and Olympic level athletes, Delaney finds the combination of his massage & athletic training skills provides an optimal balance to help fulfill the treatment and rehabilitative needs for all of his clients, no matter what level they perform at.
