Jenna specializes in Shiatsu Shin Tai, Integrative Body Work, and Clinical-based Massage modalities. In 2014, Jenna received her certification in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy by the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy (IANMT) founded by Judith DeLany while completing the Advanced Massage Therapy Certification program at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT), Colorado Springs, Co. She went on to study Shiatsu Shin Tai under Saul Goodman founder of the International School of Shiatsu and Shin Tai International and Michael Wohlfarth at The Mindful Shiatsu Center ultimately completed her certification in 2016. Jenna is also currently advancing her train in CranioSacral Therapy through the Pledger Institute, based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Shiatsu Shin Tai continues to be her primary focus and to advance in this field. Also, Jenna has trained on the path of learning and growing in the Inca Nusta Paqo traditions with Maestro Don Alejandro Apaza, founder of the Inca Medicine School, Cusco, Peru. Additionally, Jenna is a certified yoga teacher through My Vinyasa Practice in Austin, TX. Along this journey into healing and bodywork arts, Jenna has studied a variety of massage modalities including myofascial release, deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, craniosacral and more.
Additionally, Jenna has been a master level Usui Reiki Practitioner since 2012. Since beginning her career in clinical massage, Jenna has integrated and synthesized eastern and western bodywork systems, clinical and energetic healing.
Prior to entering the world of healing arts and massage, Jenna originally began studying fine arts while living in North East Pennsylvania where she grow up. Receiving an Associates of Fine Arts at Keystone College followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts; Sculpture at Marywood University which led to many years as a professional artist. Ultimately, she was drawn into the direction of healing arts by receiving her first Reiki attunement in 2005. Currently, Jenna has completed a Masters of Social Work at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
Jenna's approach to bodywork is providing a personalized treatment integrating a variety of techniques designed to restore our natural mind-body connectedness by manipulating soft tissue (muscles, tendons, and fascia) to relax the body, relieve pain, and detox the body systems while bringing her clients to a gentle, peaceful place. Jenna has worked with clients who have suffered a variety of symptoms and conditions relating to everything from headaches, to pre and post surgery. Jenna continues to focus on full-scope trauma-informed holistic body and energy modalities.
