I completed a 600+ hour course for Massage Therapy in Richmond, Virginia and am Nationally Certified since March 2004. I am also licensed in the state of Virginia. I have continued to expand my skill-set and knowledge with over 250 hours of continuing education. My interest and passion pertains to Orthopedic massage techniques and I have acquired a Medical Massage Certificate. I received valuable training and experience upon receiving certification, while working for 2.5 years with a Physical Therapy practice. I started my own Massage practice in 2008 working from home or onsite. I have a profound interest in the many diverse ways to maintain the health and functionality of our bodies as we age. The importance of exercise for fitness and balance, stretching for mobility, nutritious foods and the use of chemical-free products to name a few. I also enjoy being outdoors and exploring the beauty of plants and their uses.
