Tovin specializes in therapeutic massage which has a very different focus than a regular relaxation or “spa” type massage. Theragetic is a term that I've created to describe the style and function of the unique type of massage we provide. It is a combination of the blending of five therapeutic modalities with an energy modality such as Reiki.
Therapeutic massage utilizes a variety of advanced modalities such as deep tissue, myofascial, and trigger point as well as some passive and resistive stretching techniques. Therapeutic massage involves focused work on your body’s soft tissues (muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue) for the treatment of musculo-skeletal issues such as frozen shoulder and sciatica. It is also effective for relieving migraine, tension and sinus headaches and addressing chronic pain caused by injuries and repetitive stress on the body.
It is our desire to address both the physical pain, tension and discomfort in your muscles and tissues as well as the mental and physical fatigue that results from the excessive stress we deal with on a daily basis.
