Welcome! I'm glad you're here.
I got my first professional massage when I was 13 years old. My late mother became an LMT in 1999 and in the following years, I got tons of massages from her and her colleagues. After graduating high school in 2005, I was set on getting a standard degree, though I had no idea in what. I started taking basic classes from Anatomy + Physiology, Psychology, Sociology and Human Development courses. I began becoming intrigued with Occupational Therapy. I was encouraged to think of varied avenues to help people in a hands on way. A few people suggested massage therapy. Turns out, it was a fantastic decision. I started massage school in 2009, finished at the end of the year, and got my license January 2010. Since then, I have done hundreds of corporate chair massages, swedish massages, and neuromuscular therapy.
I completed a 500 hour certificate program from the Texas School of Massage and received my license (MT 110291) in 2010. I've studied under notable therapists including - Michael Tighe, William Butler, Shirley Hayslip, and Lizabeth Doolittle. I've studied Neuromuscular Therapy from esteemed MT John Rodriguez. Since 2010, I've massaged thousands of business people, musicians, runners, homemakers, to the "everyday man". My specialty is pain relief and holistic wellness. Notable places I've worked at include: Baker Botts, Deloitte, Stout Risius Ross, and Rice University.
In May 2020, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health - Health Promotion and a minor in Human Development & Family Studies.
I hope you'll give me the chance to help you with your pain relief needs!
