Allow me to help you to the best you I got my first exposure to massage as an athlete in high school- my massage therapist helped me manage my injury and chronic pain and go on to complete the remainder of the sport season. I continued to build interest in massage therapy while completing my undergraduate degree at Baylor University. I had the opportunity to work with elite athletes in multiple sports who understood the impact recovery and maintenance had on their training and future success. After spending time as a movement specialist and fitness coach, I realized that recovery and maintenance is important for everyone - not just athletes. No matter what stage/phase of life you're in, taking care of yourself should be a constant priority. You really don't have time to not be at your best, do you? Whether you are a weekend warrior with a desire to stay in the best shape possible, or a working mother that manages 3 other schedules aside from her own, everyone needs and deserves time to make sure they are prepared to conquer life's next great adventure. I got my license in massage therapy from the Alternative Body Care School of Massage in Waco, Tx after spending time as a movement specialist and developing a passion for promoting self-care. We have to take some time to prioritize ourselves in this hectic world. Neglecting ourselves only leads to burn out; it can slow down your progress and take years off of your life(- and what is the point of all your hard work without any reward?) We expect so much of our bodies on a daily basis and in order to maintain that high level of functioning, you have to take care of the vessel that's making it all happen. You owe it to yourself to take care of your body Through massage therapy I am able to help you with recovery, pain management, mental angst, and maintaining an enjoyable quality of life. You are made of awesome. You put your body and mind through the ringer every day to accomplish all of the goals you've set for yourself. In order to maintain that high level of functioning from your body, you have to take care of the vessel making it all possible. In order to be there for everyone else in your life, you have to be there for yourself first. You deserve it!
