I am a licensed massage therapist with the state of Texas since 2004. I’ve been practicing in Rockwall primarily in rehabilitation environments. I spent many years with Rockwall Medical Massage specializing in traditional muscle work that reduces pain and improves movement.

As my practice has developed over the last 20 years I sought out lighter touch techniques. People experience a trauma then want me to inflict more trauma to the body to undo it? That heavier body work no longer makes sense to me. There’s value to the traditional deep muscle work that I provide,  don’t get me wrong. It’s simply no longer a  good fit for me as my practice moves forward and evolves. I seek to be gentler in how I want to assist my clients to wellness.

After exploring various modalities including Reiki, I found CranioSacral Therapy, an Osteopathic modality which has its roots as far back as 1930 beginning with Dr. William G. Sutherland who conceived the principals of cranial osteopathy. I practice Dr. John E Upledger. Bio-mechanical Therapy taught by the Upledger Institute. This practice is evidence bases yet allows for intuitive guidance for the practitioner.

CranioSacral Therapy(CST) evaluates and enhances the system of the cranium, spinal cord and sacrum, releasing tension in the soft tissues that surrounds the central nervous system. It has been shown to be beneficial for issues such as:

Migraines, Headaches, Chronic Pain and Fatigue

Traumatic Brain Injuries

TBI and Concussions

Emotional Difficulties, PTSD, Depression

Fibromyalgia and other Connective-Tissue Disorders

(TMJ) and Dental Challenges

My practice goal is to introduce this practice to seniors seeking relief from general aches, those seeking noninvasive management tools for Migraines/headaches and athletes who want an edge on competition.. I also provide this bodywork for horses and dogs.
