I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years having primarily worked in fast-paced emergency departments at high-volume hospitals. Beginning in 2016 I began transitioning into the role of a nursing educator for nursing students at colleges and vocational nursing programs as well as becoming a licensed massage therapist. I chose to pursue becoming a massage therapist in order to fulfill a desire to provide more individualized care to others that wasn't always practicable in emergency department nursing.

     My career as a licensed massage therapist began at Wildwood Day Spa in Middleborough, MA. I continually pursued personal and professional growth as a massage therapist to enable me to provide services to a wide array of clients and their specific needs. Through successful implementation of basic and advanced holistic-based massage and energetic services I developed a very loyal following and I occasionally provide massage services for my cherished clients when I travel back to the northeast to visit family and friends.

     My biggest desire upon moving from the northeast was to find our new home and eventually open another holistic-based massage and energy healing business. I had already decided this business would be named "Mending Roots Holistic Massage" as it captured the essence of my approach to being an intuitive and efficient massage therapist. After RV'ing full-time across the country for over a year we quickly fell in love with the foothills of the Smokey Mountains and in mid-2022 we finally settled in beautiful Maryville, TN where I began a search for where to establish my new business. My search quickly ended upon finding an ideal location located within the well-established Eden Salon & Spa in Alcoa, TN.
