I have been studying and practicing in the field of rehabilitation medicine and neuro fascial bodywork since 2000. I received a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. I worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in Brain Injury/Stroke Rehab for 10 years. Always a student of the body and it’s limitless potential to balance and repair, I became a certified Bowenwork Practitioner in 2013. Bowenwork is a light touch neuromuscular technique that stimulates communication between the nervous system and fascial system. As my interest developed in how the fascial system is interconnected with all the body’s systems, I obtained a license in bodywork, completed  a 2 year mentorship in Tensegrity Medicine and completed many CE courses including Craniosacral, Craniosomatic, and Reiki. I am a mother of two great kids that mirror me and challenge my growth every day! My focus as a Tensegrity Medicine practitioner is to hold space and empower clients to connect, listen to and trust their own body’s ability to heal and restore.
