**MASKS REQUIRED**
Hi, I'm Quinn! My pronouns are they/them. I'm a queer nonbinary massage therapist in Southwest Portland, and I'm committed to making quality care accessible for marginalized folks.
¡Hablo español!
I practice primarily Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and myofascial release. I enjoy combining techniques from different modalities to create a session tailored to each client's needs. It is my firm belief that healthcare should be viewed as a collaboration of experts: the provider is an expert in their field, and you are the expert on your body. No matter how much education and experience we have, you will always be the only one who knows what it feels like to live and move in your body. By working together and sharing our knowledge, we can create a personalized treatment plan that works for you.
It was always my dream to create a space where everyone can feel safe and cared for exactly as they are. As a trans person, I frequently felt uneasy receiving bodywork. There is a lot of trust that goes into allowing someone to work with your body so closely, and I often found myself afraid of the potential consequences of being outed while simultaneously invalidated by being misgendered in a situation that felt so vulnerable. I hope to provide an environment where those anxieties can be eased, and where anyone can truly and fully relax.
Accessibility and Intersectionality
I strive to make my practice a safe space for all marginalized groups. The space is on the second story and is accessible via a staircase in front of the building as well a ramp from the upper parking lot. There is an ADA accessible single occupancy gender neutral restroom in the studio. I am able to perform seated treatment in a massage chair or in the client's wheelchair. I do not use essential oils or any scented products or cleaning supplies, but some of the other therapists in the studio do. The massage table has a weight capacity of 550 lbs. It is 30 inches wide and 70 inches long (82 inches with the face cradle) with 4 inch arm rests on each side.
As a white person, I am always working to deconstruct my privilege and combat the systems of white supremacy in which we all exist. My practice is welcoming and affirming of all races, genders, sexualities, religions, and cultures, and there is absolutely no tolerance for bigotry of any kind. My care is trauma-informed, and I am more than happy to provide any accommodations you may need- just ask!

Health & Safety Precautions
Masks are required in my office at all times except when face down on the table. When face down, I use EarthLite Breathe-Easy headrest pockets which function as a mask. You are also more than welcome to wear a mask while face down if you choose. I take each client's temperature prior to the massage using a no-contact forehead thermometer. All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned using unscented disinfectants before and after each appointment.
