Selah Healing Arts was named such because the word Selah is a word with no direct literal translation but that can be used to imply a rest in music or poetry. It is also used to represent the concept of "forever". Ruby Buchanan feels that as life forms on this planet, we are all interconnected just as body, mind, and spirit are interconnected. Her goal is to help her clients see their endless potential to heal themselves. 

Ruby Buchanan  is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Consulting Hypnotist who strives to be in tune with her clients’ needs.

Ruby offers quality therapeutic and relaxation massage, and when asked what type of massage she practices the answer is simple; mishmash... This means that she uses elements of all of her massage training over the past 20 years and fuses them into the massage that is best suited to the client. She can work with you to assess what type of massage you need in order to deliver professional, caring, and quality touch.

Hypnosis

Ruby is a Certified 5-PATH® Consulting Hypnotist, as well as a 7^th Path® Self Hypnosis practitioner and teacher who is Registered with the National Guild of Hypnotists. She received her training from Cascade Hypnosis Center in Bellingham, Washington. She provides heart-centered, professional, ethical, and local hypnosis and hypnotherapy sessions to Corvallis, Oregon and the whole of Benton and Linn Counties. She also provides secure, convenient online hypnosis sessions worldwide.  Ruby offers community education on hypnosis, and related topics on overall self-improvement and wellness.
