In 2007 I graduated from massage therapy school in Henderson, NV. and began my journey as a Bodyworker/Healer. Listening to my inner voice, I decided to move to Washington State. While there I met and worked with other Massage Therapists, Bodyworkers, Healers, and a Naturopath Doctor/Acupuncturist. After attending many meditation groups and other healing ceremonies I quickly learned how "The body has the ability to heal itself." Incorporating massage into your routine can contribute to both physical and mental wellness, enhancing your quality of life.
Massage Therapy offers several benefits that can enhance everyday life:
*Stress Relief: Regular massage reduces cortisol levels, helping to alleviate stress and promote relaxation.
*Pain Management: It can relieve chronic pain conditions life back pain, migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis and much more!
*Improved Sleep: The physical touch and rhythmic movements of massage help activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which induces relaxation and calmness.
*Enhanced Circulation: Massage stimulates blood flow, which can boost oxygen and nutrient delivery to tissues.
*Increase Flexibility: Techniques used in massage help to stretch and loosen muscles, improving overall mobility.
*Better Posture: Regular sessions can address muscle imbalances and tension, contributing to improved posture.
*Emotional Well-being: Massage can elevate mood by increasing levels of serotonin and dopamine, reducing anxiety and depression.
I am here to help each person on their own path of healing. The healing process is filled with lots of ups and downs and discovery. As we heal from an injured body, heart, spirit or mind we begin to have insights, awareness, and return to a feeling of being at home in yourself.
I use a combination of Eastern and Western techniques. While the Eastern approach is from the energy point of view, the Western approach is towards the physical body. This holistic approach is relaxing yet effective in relieving aches and pains, tension, stagnation, swelling, improves range of motion, circulation, and balances mind and well-being just to name a few.
