The human body is a remarkable machine. Sooner or later it is bound to need a tune-up. Massage is a great answer to counter the daily wear and tear that our bodies are subjected to. These aches and pains can impede a person’s ability to live life to the fullest. My fascination with improving the state of musculature began with exercise and led me to attend the New York Institute of Massage, graduating in 1998. I am passionate about improving the quality of life for my clients, be it stress relief or addressing painful musculoskeletal conditions that may be negatively impacting quality of daily living. With more than twenty-five years of clinical experience, I am eager to help people on the path to better health and wellness. In addition, I have been a faculty member of the New York Institute of Massage, teaching all of the massage courses since 2000.
What I offer in terms of service depends on what your needs are. A relaxation massage may be just the thing that can help relieve minor muscle aches and pains, while simultaneously providing much needed stress relief for many through the release of neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. For many, neck and low back pain are common complaints but I am adept at treating several conditions including, but not limited to, joint pain, headaches, TMJ, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatic pain, plantar fasciitis, scoliosis, hyper-kyphosis, and rotator cuff injuries. When dealing with issues like these, an assessment of posture is used to help determine a plan of action. Part of my job is to explain why an individual has pain and/or limited movement. This is important so the client understands the process taken to achieve maximum results in the shortest time. In the end, it is your session and I will do my best to see that your expectations are met. Don’t put it off any longer. Consider scheduling an appointment today.
