My name is Nick and I've been a massage therapist for 2 years now. Before I started my career as a massage therapist I was a car mechanic for 7 years. Cars and people are very different, but working with my hands and diagnosing issues is something I am very familiar with. I take great pride in being able to help people first hand. It's one of the things I love about massage therapy.
Holistic body health is something I strive for in my daily life, which started for me when I got into Crossfit in 2015. It led me to better understand movement patterns, the importance of muscle strength and proper body mechanics/mobility. It's also when I started seeing a massage therapist regularly to help with body aches and pains. With my new found love for health and wellness I wanted to keep expanding my knowledge base, so I decided to obtain my Precision Nutrition level 1 certification. Nutrition is just as important as muscle strength and is a key factor in body health.
In 2021 I attended Onondaga School of Theraputic Massage where I obtained 1000 hours of training required to take the New York states licensing exam. After graduation, I accepted a job at a chiropractic office where I provided treatment/orthopedic, sports and general massage. During my time there I obtained extra training in TMJ massage where I learned how to work the specific muscles inside the mouth to help alleviate TMJ dysfunction.
I'm very excited to continue learning and growing my knowledge of different modalities so I can further help people.
