My name is Catherine, owner of Massage by Catherine. 

I've been a licensed massage therapist for seven years and have worked in a variety of settings throughout my massage career. 

My approach to massage is intentional and trauma-informed. In my work I have found the body holds on to our own trauma as well as trans-generational trauma, meaning the experiences of our ancestors and the traumas we have faced collectively in the present and in history. Bodywork is an integral tool in processing these experiences we share and have inherited. As a result, spirituality and holistic healing are at the foundation of my practice. My aim is to help reconnect you with your body, your sense of self, and build community.
