Biography

Daniel grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California. There he participated in sports such as wrestling, track and field, volleyball, and Tae Kwon Do. As he got older, he developed a passion for bodybuilding and gradually bettered his physique through constant dedication. Unfortunately, during one of his training sessions, he suffered a debilitating back injury which led to a herniated disc in his lower back. The sciatic pain was excruciating and neither the shots nor the pain medication offered sufficient relief. After quite a few recommendations, he met a massage therapist in San Diego, CA who was miraculously able to ease the pain and increase range of motion through massage. This experience made a huge impact on Daniel’s life, leading him to move to Las Vegas to pursue a career in massage therapy. With a strong desire to help others improve their quality of life and perform at their best, he took the first steps to master the art and science of massage therapy by attending the Nevada School of Massage Therapy. After graduating from both the Professional Massage and Master Bodyworker programs, he opened Apex Bodywork in 2018. Throughout his career he has worked with bodybuilders, crossfitters, yogies, ultramarathon runners, collegiate athletes, and everyone in between.
