Originally from Alaska, Amanda Krause's journey into the world of massage therapy began during her tenure as the office manager for an acupuncture office. Her fascination with Traditional Chinese Medicine and other healing arts ignited a passion that led her to pursue a career in massage therapy. 

In 2017, Amanda took a leap of faith, leaving Alaska to relocate to Nevada. She enrolled in the esteemed massage program at The Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts. Her dedication and commitment to her studies saw her graduating with distinction in early 2019. After graduating she promptly joined their instructor training program, upon completion she began teaching a variety of classes including, Kinesiology, Chair Massage, Medical Massage, and others. 

Amanda currently has her practice, AK Massage & Bodywork, located in beautiful downtown Carson City, Nevada. Her expertise includes Deep Tissue, Swedish, Myofascial Release, Cupping, and Medical Massage (with focus on conditions like Parkinson's, Osteoporosis, and end of life care). Amanda's comprehensive training encompasses Zen Shiatsu, Acupressure, Reflexology, and Craniosacral Therapy. These techniques and styles allow Amanda to create highly customized and effective treatments that are unique to each client’s needs. 

With a passion for fostering whole body wellness, Amanda endeavors to be part of your healthcare team. Her approach is rooted in the belief that a well-rounded care team can be harmonized to deliver the most beneficial outcome to each client. 

Since moving to Nevada, Amanda has cultivated roots both personally and professionally. Here she balances her passion for massage therapy, and the joy she has spending time with her family. Amanda's commitment to her clients, coupled with her extensive training makes Amanda a respected and sought after licensed massage therapist.
