Welcome!

  My name is Darrell, but most folks call me DJ. I have been a licensed massage therapist in New Mexico since 2022. Before I began this journey as a massage therapist, I worked as an Integrated Avionics technician in the Air Force. After separating from the military I've worked in landscaping, security installation, and building maintenance. These jobs were physically demanding and I could feel the wear and tear they placed on me even in my 20's. I knew that if i wanted to have as little pain as possible as I grew older I would need to utilize my body in a much efficient manner. This started my unofficial schooling of the human body, its muscles, movements. 

  Around 2016 my wife was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, which at the time was not given much respect as a condition that people suffered from. She played medication musical chairs for some time and after a while she felt this was something she was going to have to deal with for the rest of her life. We found that sufferers of Fibromyalgia had gotten results utilizing massage therapy and I began to learn some techniques to try. In doing so my wife found that her flare ups were considerably fewer and that she was able to push herself farther physically than she had been able to in a long time. My wife was newly invigorated and that only increased my interest. I began to go deeper into the research of massage therapy and its therapeutic qualities. In 2021, I enrolled into school and have been refining my skills ever since. 

  As a massage therapist, I hope to utilize my attention to detail and knowledge of the human body to help you live your life a little more comfortably. No one deserves to live with pain and I want to help you achieve that goal.
