Hi, my name is Maureen Whitney. I'm a licensed massage therapist, practicing in the greater Hillsboro, NH area, since 1993. I attended the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts, then upon graduating, I worked for Dr. James Powers, at the Hillsboro Chiropractic Center for five years. I've been in private practice ever since. My goal, when working on you, is to bring your body back into balance, because when your body's in balance, it works better for you. I use a variety of techniques to try to accomplish this, including Myoskeletal Alignment Technique, Active Isolated Stretching, Muscle Release Technique, Myofascial Release, Positional Release, Swedish Massage, and a few others, including energy work.
