After receiving Thai Yoga Massage for the first time, I thought to my self, "Whoa, what did I just experience, and I need to learn this!" I was ecstatic about my massage experience and needed to learn more. I was in my second year of practicing as a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and had begun training in energy work with Healing Touch Program. Thai massage was what I had been looking for; deep effective work that honored the bodies intricate energetic systems. I am now a Healing Touch Program- Apprentice working to become a practitioner in energy work. I am a trained Doula supporting prenatal and postpartum women with therapeutic massage. Yes, pregnant women can receive Thai Massage! (modified for prenatal contraindications) I am grateful for the Thai culture and the teachers who continue to inspire me and show me that massage is an ancient nurturing healing practice.
Know someone who just 's massages?
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
