Bodywork by Betty is a single therapist massage and bodywork practice dedicated to improving both physical and emotional well-being through the power of therapeutic touch.

Having over 12 years' experience, I specialize in Corrective Massage which focuses on alleviating pain and improving posture and alignment by addressing underlying imbalances and restrictions. Unlike general massage that focuses solely on relaxation, the aim of this work is to identify and address the root causes of pain and disfunction with the goal of restored balance to the body and nervous system through improved muscle function and increased range of motion.

Each session is tailored to the individual and employs a variety of modalities including deep tissue, Thai massage stretching techniques, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. Salt stones and cupping techniques are also incorporated as needed with no additional fee to the client.

Corrective Massage is particularly beneficial for chronic conditions and injuries that have led to muscle imbalances and postural problems. Some of these conditions include: TMJ disfunction, "Tech Neck", back and sciatic pain, sports related injuries, and frozen shoulder to name a few.
