My education in holistic medicine includes 4 years of study in an Ayurvedic Practitioner program and 2 years of study in the Ayurvedic Doctorate Program with Boston Ayurveda Inc (Boston, Ma). I am a LMBT (19690) in North Carolina, Certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Vodder Technique (ACOLS, Fla.), Reiki Master (Libby Barnetts The Reiki Connection, NH) and Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapist (Stillpoint CST, NY). My training encompasses multiple diciplines of energy and bodywork therapies with an emphasis in integration of Ayurveda as a viable and complementary system of whole body wellness.
I work with both adults and children developing lifestyle and nutrition plans based on individual body types as defined by Ayurveda to overcome health conditions. Some of the more common disorders I treat in my practice include IBS, arthritis, sleep disorders, weight management, brain fog/memory issues, back pain, lack of energy (CFS), women’s health, GERD, hypertension, high cholesterol, allergies, muscular skeletal complaints, constipation, hyperacidity, skin disorders, gut bacteria imbalances, food sensitivities, yeast infections and autoimmune diseases.
My extensive training in Ayurvedic medicine coupled with western bodywork modalities offers clients the option to begin addressing physical pain, trauma resolution or support through a difficult time of life with a single therapy or a combination. It is very empowering to the client to be able to leave my office after therapy and have customized diet and lifestyle that can be resourced to continue the healing process even after our session is over.
I am currently accepting new clients in my Calabash office where I will be offering Ayurvedic Consultations, several bodywork therapies, Pancha Karma Cleansing Programs, Thirty Day Wellness Programs, Ayurvedic and Energetic Therapies.
