I specialize in therapeutic massage for medical conditions and injury rehabilitation. I have received extensive training in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, injury and trauma mechanics and many massage modalities.  I got my start in the medical field as an emergency medical technician and paramedic, working on ambulances, life-flight helicopters, and in emergency rooms. I tired of seeing people on the worst day of their life and wanted to continue helping people which eventually led me to a career as a massage therapist. I have performed many thousands of hours of massage therapy on clients of all ages and in nearly every imaginable location.  I have worked closely with chiropractors and acupuncturists to treat professional athletes, celebrities, and other clients who want to feel their best. My favorite modality is Thai massage, a style that is as relaxing and therapeutic to me as it is my clients. I am a Nationally Board Certified Therapeutic Massage Therapist and Bodyworker (BCTMB).  While I specialize in working with clients with chronic pain and major medical conditions, hospice, and post-surgical care, I see many clients who simply need routine stress and pain relief therapies. In addition to my private massage therapy practice, I am an instructor at Wellspring School of Allied Health in Kansas City. I teach courses in Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, Advanced Massage Techniques, and other various massage-related subjects. As of 2024, I am the American Massage Therapy Association Board President of the Missouri Chapter.
