Teona is the owner & massage therapist at Embraced Healing Massage & Bodyworks, LLC. Teona attended Heritage College in Kansas City, MO where she obtained her Associates Degree in Occupational Studies for Massage Therapy. She graduated in October of 2011 & received her license in January of 2012. Since she was 8 month pregnant with her second child (mother of 2) at the time she received her license, Teona took a year off, starting her massage career in April of 2013. Within 2 years, she worked for 2 different massage chains gaining experience & growing as a massage therapist. In August of 2015, Teona branched out to become an independent contractor at an establishment & in October of 2018 she started Embraced Healing Massage & Bodyworks, LLC.  During her massage career, Teona has studied & been certified in Reiki, Sports Injury Massage, Cupping, & Reflexology, just to name a few.  Teona aspires to expand into a wellness retreat where she will be able to help people heal mentally, physically, emotionally, & spiritually with a team of like minded individuals. Where you can come into a sacred & safe space, be yourself, embrace life, & inspire healing. All with love.
