My journey as an LMT began when I was very young. Around the age of 4-5 my grandma began to battle with diabetes, and she was struggling with the onset of neuropathy in her feet. So, at that age I would rub and work on my grandma’s feet. I developed a greater sense for the power of touch what it means to be able to help and heal with our hands at a young age. As I went on in life, I began to excel in biology and anatomy courses all through high school and college and I had always known that those subjects greatly piqued my interest. After my time in college, I did some thinking and came to the realization that Massage Therapy was the perfect path for me to follow. As I progressed through massage school, I discovered highly therapeutic modalities and manual therapy where I felt that my abilities would be put to good use. I soon discovered Erik’s Myoskeletal Alignment therapy and after taking the first course I wouldn’t look back. These courses made sense. Finally, a practice that isn’t solely concerned about the fascia or the muscles or the joints but rather seeing the body a whole intertwining unit capable of unique dynamic movement. Using techniques derived from osteopaths to Rolfers and structural integrationist alike, my clients have never been more happy with restoring pain free movement and reaching new goals every session! Following that achievement I earned my degree in Osteopathic Manual Therapy from the London School of Osteopathy and Health Sciences in London, Ontario Canada. Now my practice focus heavy on orthopedic assessments and treatment plans by way of manual and movement based therapies and corrective exercises using a combination of different schools of thought to treat pain and reach the clients goals.
