Sarah Fitzgerald Sarah found her calling as a Bodywork Therapist while working as a PCA. After being told that she has magic hands and that she should go to school for massage, Sarah kept seeing signs that this was her path. “I would be folding laundry while watching tv and I kept seeing ads for a massage therapy program at a local tech college. I thought to myself that this has to be a sign.” Sarah graduated with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Massage Therapy from High Tech Institute in May 2005. Bodywork is Sarah’s passion and she loves to learn more about how she can help others. She continues her education in two areas that were briefly touched on in college. Sarah has always felt an energy while working with her clients, an energy that seems to just flow through her hands. She learned about Reiki Energy Work. She became Reiki I attuned in August 2018, Reiki II attuned in February 2019 and Reiki Master attuned in 2020. These attunements have greatly benefited both Sarah and her clients. She is working towards continuing her Reiki training. Sarah has also found John F. Barnes Myofascial Release Therapy. Due to how memories, emotions and trauma are stored in the fascial system. She has found this therapy to be a missing link for several of her clients, including herself. Since there is no limit to what she can learn with Myofascial Release, Sarah plans on taking all of the training seminars at least once, if not more than once. Sarah brings all that she has learned and continues to learn to the table. She seamlessly blends several modalities and bodywork techniques into every session. Her pressure is gradual and evenly balanced throughout the session. Sarah creates a calm and relaxed environment where you never feel rushed or hurried. She takes the time to truly hear and listen to your concerns and goals for each session. She encourages her clients to utilize the self care homework that she gives you after each session, including yoga and exercise. Sarah enjoys gardening, being outdoors, hiking, yoga and spending time with family.
