HI, I'm Judith. I
began my massage career over 26 years ago. I attended Touching for Health
School of Professional Bodywork and Massage in Stockton, California. While
attending massage school I had the great fortune to meet my Myofascial Release
mentor and began receiving treatment from him. This was a pivotal point in my
life as I had finally found a therapy that began to eliminate my chronic pain
one layer at a time. I have attended over 200 hours of John F Barnes'
Myofascial Release courses to help my clients and have dedicated my life and
career to deepening my understanding of the causes of chronic pain and how to
alleviate it to better help my clients.
Pain, arising from
physical, mental, or emotional injury/trauma, is an unavoidable part of life
and each of us will experience it at some point. But I believe that no person
needs to stay in pain. It is important to address the issue as well as find the
cause for long-lasting, authentic healing. I draw on the experience of
alleviating my own chronic pain, blending empathy, intuition, and Myofascial
Release techniques to help each individual to find their own innate skills of
healing. I have learned to listen to my clients, feel into the physical body to
find and release tensions within the fascial system, hold safe spaces when
necessary for emotion and trauma to arise and be released and am in the process
of learning how to address energetic restrictions that may have negative
effects.
In my personal life,
I just recently relocated to Michigan with my awesome partner, black lab and
kitty. When I am not working or taking classes I love to spend time with my
partner, playing with my dog, making jewelry, gardening, reading, being
outdoors, and playing challenging games.
