I became interested in massage by getting monthly massages myself. I realized how much regular massage helped keep my stress levels in check, relieved tight muscles and helped to boost my immune system.
I am a 2019 graduate of the Academy of Alternative Healing Arts and have completed Five levels of Reflexology training at Branch Reflexology Institute for feet and also completed my hand Reflexology training as well. Please see below for more information.
I believe in the many benefits of massage and reflexology! Whether you are an athlete, looking to relieve muscle tension, or a business professional, working at a computer all day and wanting relief from upper back and neck tightness or you just want to relax and unwind, I am ready to help!
I use Sacred Earth products including vegan massage creme, organic massage oil blend and organic arnica oil by Sacred Earth. I tailor each massage to the individual. You can choose relaxation or deep tissue or a combination of both. If you need really deep pressure, I may not be the therapist for you. I also include the option for hot stones and reflexology into each massage.

Definition
Reflexology is a science based on theprinciple that there are reflexes in the feet and hands that correspond to allorgans, glands and parts of the body. Its goal is to encourage the release of blockages/congestion in andaround the nerve endings while stimulating circulation and improving nerve andblood supply throughout the entire energy system.
Reflexology is not a foot massage. It works to release uric acid and toxin build-up in the feet andhands.
How Does Reflexology Work?
There are over 7,000 nerve endings in eachfoot. As circulation in the feet slowsdown, crystalline deposits form at the nerve endings. By using adeep-compression thumb technique, the deposits are broken up, helping the bodyfunction normally and also to decrease pain.
Reflexologist find that specific reflexpoints that are congested and maybe tender/painful. Working these reflex points can feelgranular, bumpy, and puffy to name a few. By using the deep compression technique, the crystals are broken up sothey can be reabsorbed by the blood and lymph system and excreted from thebody.
Why I love this modality!
· Reflexologylooks at how our emotional stress can affect our physical body.
· Thesession is typically 50 minutes and you can get in and out in an hour. Perfect for those working and on their lunchhour or that don’t want to feel “lotiony” after a massage and then continue onwith their day.
· Manypeople do not want to undress for a full body massage. Reflexology only requires you to take yourshoes and socks off.
What can you expect from asession
Start out with a foot soak in an Epsom saltbath with lavender or peppermint essential oil. Then you will lay on the table to receive the reflexology session forabout 45 minutes. Finish with hot towelsfor your feet to remove extra lotion.
Timing
Ideally, I’d like to see you once a weekfor the first 4 weeks to start out with. This will give you the best results. You can also choose to schedule when you want to come as well eitherwith a single session to try it out or multiple sessions. After that it depends on how far you want tospread out the sessions. It helps if youare adding in other things like exercise, yoga, meditation or chiropractic careinto your routine.
