Greetings. My name is Ann. I am a body therapist with over 25 years of professional experience; licensed in both Oregon and Michigan.
I initially trained in craniosacral therapy (CST) and orthopedically-based bodywork, which gradually evolved into a more holistic and integrative bodywork session which utilizes a Swedish massage framework for a fascia-focused, therapeutic session that embraces many techniques and modalities, especially CST, myofascial release, and reflexology.
It is a joy to facilitate your fantastic bodywork session.
I strive to provide you with a solid, deeply engaged, firm, energetic, restorative, and integrative therapeutic bodywork session each and every session.
I have worked with all ages, from newborn babies on up. And I have worked with folks with a wide range of needs, from pain syndromes, to athletes; from injuries to optimization and well-being.
You are welcomed each session with a copper bowl foot soak, water and herbal tea, and a warm neck wrap. You are encouraged to take a moment following your bodywork session to transition back into the balance of your day.
I offer the super comfortable BodySupport cushion, a warmed table, hydrocollator packs, quality plant-based oils, and therapeutic essential oils for most sessions. Unscented lotion is also an option.
Rounding things out, I am a certified, through KRI, Kundalini Yoga teacher since 2004; and, I have earned a master's degree in human nutrition and functional medicine at the University of Western States, in conjunction with the Institute for Functional Medicine. Nutrition, yoga, meditation, consultations are available.
In addition to having a job that I love, I also enjoy traveling, yoga, learning, hiking, beading, mushroom hunting, reading, gardening, cooking, camping and kayaking, my family, and our big-hearted boxer, Rex.
I look forward to working with you.
