Heidi Shonka grew up around the beaches of Pensacola, FL. She then moved to New Orleans, LA and studied massage at Delgado Community College. During that time she also apprenticed with Lomi Lomi master, Kenneth Leavitt, and learned about the healing power of aloha and Thai massage. After college she went to Honduras where she became a certified Emergency First Responder and Certified Rescue Diver. In the summer of 2022, she then moved to New England to work on traditional rigged sailing vessel Windjammer Angelique. When not working in the healing arts, she’s an avid sailor and lover of the ocean, and often uses the rhythm of the wind and waves as inspiration for her bodywork. She currently does two trips a year massaging on the oldest windjammer in America, the Schooner Lewis R. French. Be sure to check it out!
