Aloha! My name is Sara LeBeau, a Licensed Massage Therapist based in Western Massachusetts. I’m a Massachusetts native, who recently moved back home to be closer to my family, after living away for 8 years! In the past 8 years, I've done a lot. I have been a baker, nanny (au pair), bartender, & barista. I’ve traveled to Spain, Australia, Bali, and along the way I ended up living in Hawaii for over 5 years! I fell head over heels with Hawaii and the island lifestyle. As soon as my feet touched that crystal clear water, I knew this place was special . Over the past 5 years, I've grown more and more into the person I've always dreamed of being. I reflected, healed, and met some of the most amazing people who have gone from strangers, to friends, to ohana (family). My journey to the world of Holistic Health and Wellness started in April 2020, at a time I was questioning a lot in my life... Who was I? Who do I want to be? What do I want to accomplish in this life? How can I help people in a way that I'm passionate about? A very normal quarter life (existential) crisis! Many prayers, reflection, and synchronicities later, I had a moment of clarity. If you know me, you know that when I choose something, I choose it whole-heartedly... and I take action. So, the next week I was enrolled at Hawaii Massage Academy! I was officially licensed in October 2022 in the state of Hawaii. Now, after over 2 years of being an LMT, the more I realize how special & valuable this work is. There is no greater feeling than being able to hold space for people. Human touch is an essential part of our survival and directly inhibits or enhances our ability to thrive in our relationships to others & more importantly, ourselves! Because let’s face it, if we are constantly disconnected to ourselves, how are we supposed to connect with others? And if thriving relationships & connection isn’t what life’s all about, I don’t know what is! And that’s why this work is so important to me. Now if you’ve read this far, you can tell I'm incredibly passionate about what I do. And I am absolutely thrilled to share my unique approach to massage therapy with the Western Mass community. Life in Hawaii was a life-changing experience that opened my heart in the best way possible. It shaped my view of myself, the world, my values, and what I want to accomplish in this sweet, short journey we call life. Family is extremely important in Hawaiian culture, and I missed mine. Even though, I built myself a wonderful life in Hawaii, I knew that I had another chapter to explore in the place where it all started. And I'm so grateful to be back here with my family to create more special relationships and serve the community where I came from with the knowledge I have now. Bringing a touch of aloha to Western Massachusetts, I aim to offer my clients a little slice of island serenity in each treatment!
Go on, be a good friend and share MassageBook with them. They'll love you for it.
