Till is a Bodyworker with a LMT certification from Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, MA. With a background as a PhD chemist, Till brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge and a deep passion for understanding the human body to his practice. His own journey of healing from health issues and his experience as an athlete have fueled his interest in physiology, movement, and biomechanics, leading him to pursue training as a massage therapist and bodyworker.
Till's practice is focused on working with clients who are dealing with chronic or acute conditions resulting from injury, surgery, chronic pain, lifestyle factors, overuse, or other life events. His approach is trauma-informed, recognizing the impact of adverse childhood events and other trauma on the body. In addition to addressing physical ailments, Till is attuned to the spiritual and energetic aspects of healing, aiming to provide holistic care on multiple levels.
Drawing from his LMT training and interest in various other healing modalities, Till incorporates a variety of techniques into his sessions. These include fascia release, which targets muscle, visceral, and organ fascia to improve tissue mobility and to normalize lymph and blood flow, allowing natural healing processes to occur more efficiently, thereby alleviating pain and discomfort. He also employs shiatsu-informed acupressure point therapy, somatic release, trigger point therapy, and a range of massage techniques that promote long-lasting relief and enhance physical function. Till's practice is characterized by a harmonious integration of intellectual understanding of physiology and biomechanics with an intuitive approach, ensuring a personalized and effective treatment experience for his clients.
Please note that Till does not offer conventional relaxation massage and works with clients clothed.
