At Healing Hands Massage Therapy, LLC, our therapists are licensed by the Louisiana State board of Massage Therapy professionals and are certified or trained in various types of massage that offer stress and pain relief.
Most people enjoy the occasional massage for relaxation, but our hope is that you will use this service to its fullest potential. Regular therapeutic massage work, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly is benefit to overall health and can provide great relief from chronic discomforts.

Types of massage:
Relaxation massage therapy: Improved circulation and deep relaxation
Deep tissue massage: Easing chronic tension or ‘knots’ within muscles
Lymphatic massage: Detoxifies, stimulates and promotes lymphatic drainage due to swelling
Neuromuscular massage: Focus on muscular ailments with repetitive stress injuries, carpel tunnel, frozen shoulder, lower back pain
Medical massage therapy: Rehabilitation from surgery and injuries, and addressing specific diseases and medical conditions such as fibromyalgia, strains, sprains, herniated discs, tendinitis, headaches and migraines as well as neck, shoulder, back, knee, foot, hand, forearm and leg pain (Required: Medical massage requires a physician referral to address specific conditions and ailments. Please be prepared to provide a physician’s referral. Insurance may cover all or part of your visit – including some Medicare Advantage plans: Medicare Part A and Part B only pays for therapy services that are considered medically necessary. Part B typically pays for 80% of the cost for services and you pay 20% until your annual deductible is met. Medicare Part C sold by private insurers are scheduled to be covered beginning in 2020 under ‘alternative medicine’ and ‘therapeutic massage’ guidelines.)
Prenatal/Postnatal massage: Improves circulation, general body tone, relieve mental and physical fatigue
Reflexology massage: Restores balance by utilizing reflex points in hands and feet
Sinus/Headache massage: Focuses on the pressure point in the facial area including the eyes, nose, ears and neck to relieve sinus pressure and headaches
