Hi! I'm Val, a Licensed Massage Therapist and trauma-informed Yoga teacher with nearly a decade of experience as a body worker. I found Yoga and massage over 20 years ago, and I've continually benefitted from both practices, ranging from injury recovery to stress management to increased overall wellbeing, and I'm grateful to be able to share those same benefits with others. The longer I'm in practice, the more I'm in awe of the body’s innate ability to repair and recover, and the way our nervous systems are involved in what and how we feel. I'm passionate about how the body works and repairs as a whole, and approach each treatment with the full body and person in mind, blending modalities to achieve personalized, lasting ease and relief.
My bodywork training began with a 750 hour massage therapy training program, followed by over 500 hours of Yoga teacher training. I have completed many more trainings in both fields, and am certified to teach Yin, Nidra and trauma-informed classes. I strive to offer safe, effective, individualized care that meets your needs.
